Meet the Burczyks

Nick and Mallorie Burczyk have been married for 9 years and have been doing ministry side-by-side all the way. They met at a campus ministry at the University of Kentucky thirteen years ago and have since been traveling the world, making music, and loving Jesus as a duo.

Nick has served as a pastor on staff at Adventure Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky, and he finished his Masters in Divinity degree from Cincinnati Christian University in May and was awarded the “Church Growth” award from the seminary. In what seems like ages ago, Nick majored in Vocal Music Education at the University of Kentucky and taught choir for three years in the public school system in Louisville. Although he is no longer in the classroom daily, he carries his passion for teaching and music through his ministry and discipleship. Nick is most excited about building relationships through teaching what it means to be a Christ follower. He blogs about theological and cultural issues at

Mallorie left the high school English classroom to go make disciples in a faithless part of the world. She has a degree in Integrated Strategic Communications (a fancy way to say advertising) from the University of Kentucky and a Masters degree in English Education from Bellarmine University. She has served with high school students, children’s ministry, and music ministry at Adventure Christian Church, but her greatest passion is sharing Jesus with those who do not know him or are skeptical about the Gospel.

We have a five-year-old son, Cade. He is a connoisseur of all things cars, and he is known for keeping his parents on their toes with his clever narratives. Our one-year-old daughter, Clara, came into the world wooing us all with her big dimples and feisty personality, and she has added considerable joy to the Burczyk household.
